"The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person's determination."
- Tommy Lasorda

This week a co-worker of mine read her fortune cookie out loud. It said "You are the master of every situation." She then proceed to say that it was a crock of sh***. Lying fortune cookie. Usually i just laugh about it and not say anything but then i thought about it and that fortune cookie is telling the truth. We are our own master of our situations. If you think about it we chose what path we steer our life into. If we chose to stuff our faces with junk food and not exercise then that's the path to unhealthiness. But if you chose the path to watch what you eat and exercise, then you chose the path to being healthy. So you see i had to tell my co-worker that her fortune cookie was right and that she was wrong. She didn't like that very much but after explaining it she did agree. We are in control of our lives, our destiny.

The two week challenge is just about over and the finalist for the next mamavation mom is going to get chosen tomorrow. Either way of how it plays out I am glad that i did apply to be the next mamavation mom. I don't have any regrets about it at all. I do want to say good luck to all the applicants that are wanting to be the next mamavation mom. It's been great getting to know new people. Also don't forget we are all winners no matter what and look at how far we have come. We can all do this and we are going to all succeed one way or the other.  So even though the two week challenge is over i still will be exercising my butt off. I am choosing the path to be healthy. Like the fortune cookie says. I am the master of every situation.

I also have learned this week that my scale is my friend again. I incorporated more treadmill time in my workouts every day rather that just doing the normal hazing, 2 week challenge, and my ea sports active, I decided that i need to add treadmill time. I am so glad i did. I lost the weight that i gained the past two weeks. Though I'd like to say I'm past the 27 lbs. mark, I'm not. But I'm sure i will eventually. In the meantime i will add more treadmill time and can't wait to see more results.

Who is your biggest inspiration when it comes to healthy lifestyle?

My Biggest inspiration in my life would have to be my 2 children. If it weren't for them i don't know what path i would be on right now. I want to be there for them through all the events in their lives. I want to be around when my daughter walks down that aisle and marrys the man she loves or when my son has his first child. I want to be there every moment of the way. That is my inspiration to changing my life for the better and wanting a healthy lifestyle. I want my children to be able to have a mother and father when they are growing up. Not having my mother around for all of my life was the biggest thing that i miss the most. I miss not having her there when i got married, or when my first child was born, or when i had my first kiss, or went on a first date. I want to be there when my kids go through those. Every moment, every second. That is why i chose a healthy lifestyle. I don't want any regrets for me or my children.
