Overcome...

"Those who think they have not time for bodily exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness."
– Edward Stanley

Weight loss this week: 3.2 lbs
Weight loss total - 32.2 lbs!!!

This past week i have been sick. With that being said i did manage to keep doing the 2 week challenge. Though i struggled with breathing while doing it i did manage to finish it. Yeah!! :) I've lost 3.2 lbs since being sick. Guess that 's one of the perks of being sick. I've hit my 30 lbs. weight loss goal. yah me!!! Other than that not much to report. Still getting over being sick and hoping this week is a better one. I hope everyone has a great week.

 This week's mamavation post is:

What is one health lesson you want to teach your kids?

I want to teach my kids that exercising does not have to be a chore or a necessity in life. You do it anyone through out the day. You skip, you dance, you run around. As long as you're active that's all that matters. I want them to be able to eat what they want but with good judgement. I don't want them to be eating McDonald's everyday junk food for the matter but I want them to know it's OK to have an ice cream sundae once in a great while. Moderation and Excercising is the key.

This post is sponsored by Fitness Made Simple and hosted by Mamavation – a community dedicated to obesity prevention & weight loss for women and I’m writing this to be entered into a giveaway.

  5. I am constantly amazed and impressed by your journey :) and I love that you are teaching your kids that exercise is NOT a chore - we get the best workouts when we play :) Keep up the great work!

  6. Great job even pushing through illness! Rock on.

Very beautiful goal for your kids... I agree that I make exercise harder for myself because I just forget to move, play and have fun. Funny how we develop those kind of hang-ups as we grow up. Right now my kiddos don't have to be told to play. They do it naturally.

Keep up your healthy living. You had a great week. Just think what you will be up to when you are 100% better?

  9. Congrats on your loss! I definitely agree with the moderation. If you dont enjoy what you eat why would you keep doing it. You can definitely make healthy taste good, but sometimes treating yourself is good too. Hope you feel better this week. Great job sticking with the challenge and not giving up while being sick, that is awesome!
